11Ten Wins Contract To Promote US Aeronautical University

11Ten, the education marketing consultancy has won the contract to launch an aeronautical university in the United States.

Student marketing consultancy 11ten has been charged with promoting the new California Aeronautical University in Bakersfield, California.

The University offers degree programmes for students wishing to become commercial pilots, aircraft maintenance engineers, dispatchers and airline business executives.

Peter Cunningham, managing director of 11ten, said: “We are delighted to have won this prestigious contract and we look forward to promoting the university worldwide.”

11ten will be providing an integrated mix of PR, social and digital marketing services to the university but Mr Cunningham refused to disclose the value of the contract which he described as “substantial”.

Part of Beattie, the creative communications group, 11ten already supplies marketing services to the university’s sister institution SBBCollege.

California Aeronautical University's campus at Bakersfield International Airport comprises a 39,000 sq. ft. flight operations centre with classrooms, flight-planning room, dispatch centre and flight simulators as well as a 32,000 square foot hangar with 32 shaded hangar ports.

The campus also has a 168-room dormitory building, food services complex and a recreation centre with a 25-meter pool, tennis, basketball volleyball courts and weight room.

11ten has eight offices across the UK and partners in 40 countries around the globe.
