Beattie Communications Heading For Another Record Year

The new financial year got off to a flying start for Beattie Communications Group with first quarter revenues 30% ahead of last year’s record breaking performance.

Since the start of the new financial year in August, the Beattie and Only Brands have added over £600,000 in new fees.

New clients include global retailer Dufry which has 1,200 duty-free shops in 46 countries, Shepherd Construction and hotel chain Redefine BDL.

In addition, the company launched Only Communications, a new PR social media and web marketing boutique, in the United States and announced an investment of £1.5m in a new training academy in Spain.

“The last financial year was the most successful in the company’s 25 year history but we are 30% up on last year’s performance for August, September and October,” said Laurna Woods, group managing director.

“Each of our eight UK offices contributed to the new business surge as did our specialist teams covering the retail, property and travel sectors.

“We continued to invest in growth throughout the recession and we are reaping real rewards as the UK economy begins to improve.

“We have an excellent new business pipeline and we are confident this financial year will significantly out-perform our performance in 2012/13.”
