Beattie Continues To Put In A Winning Performance

Monday, 19 August 2013

Manchester PR agency Beattie Communications takes centre stage, securing two new account wins to provide PR services in the arts and entertainment sector.

The internationally-renowned Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) joins the agency’s growing client roster following a hotly contended tender process. It also adds award-winning production company, Lion Eyes, to its books.

The Beattie Manchester PR team put in the performance of their lives to win the LIPA pitch, beating off stiff competition from across the country. One of theUK’s most prominent institutions for the performing arts, LIPA is headed up by Mark Featherstone-Witty and was co-founded by lead patron Sir Paul McCartney.

The agency, which specialises in education PR, has been retained to position LIPA as the first choice UK institution for the performing arts, both for performers and those who make performance possible.

Lion Eyes is a full-service production boutique specialising in planning and producing lovingly-crafted moving image productions for brands, television, personalities and agencies worldwide. Its previous clients include Peter Kay, ITV1, Asda, BBC and Universal Pictures.  It also boasts agency collaborations with marketing agencies including JWT, Dinosaur and ViVid.

This new relationship will see B2B PR experts Beattie working with Lion Eyes to promote the company’s advertising, marketing and production offering nationally, as well as launch its new post-production facility, The Den.

Lyndsey Evans, who leads Beattie’sManchesteroffice, said: “With new account wins, it’s exciting times for Beattie’sManchesteroffice. The team we have in place now has a wealth of knowledge in the arts and entertainment industry, having previously worked with clients including Cirque du Soleil, Pathe Productions and a number of record producers. We are looking forward to making a big impact for both LIPA and Lion Eyes.”

The two account wins come on the back of three record breaking quarters for new business at Beattie, which, next month, is expected to report its best annual results in a 25 year history.
