Beattie, the creative communications group, is rolling out a range of digital marketing services for Redefine|BDL Hotels after winning a competitive tender process.

Redefine|BDL Hotels is the UK’s leading independent hotel management company and manages 63 hotels across the UK, partnering with six of the most prestigious international hotel brands, including IHG®, Hilton Worldwide, Accor, Best Western, Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Beattie already delivers creative PR consultancy for Redefine|BDL Hotels and the latest contract will see its Only Digital team working on SEO, content strategy, social media, analytics and web design and development.

A new website has recently been completed for the International Hotel Group Limited,  which was set-up by Redefine|BDL Hotels’ shareholders to invest in hotel assets, and further sites will be launched throughout 2016.

“Our digital marketing and development teams have extensive experience in delivering results for clients in many sectors, including hospitality,” said David Reid, director of Only Digital.

“The rich content that exists across the hotels in the group means that our content team in particular have a fantastic brief for the coming months. Our PR colleagues have worked on this account for several years, so Beattie really is providing a truly integrated service for Redefine|BDL Hotels.”

Beattie has kicked off 2016 by rebranding its digital marketing business from Only Web to Only Digital.

Reid added: “We took the brave step of rebranding a long-established brand because, in an ever-changing world of communications, Only Web no longer describes the essence of what we do. We have evolved well beyond web design and search marketing to embrace digital design, video, apps and television advertising.”

Only Digital operates from eight offices across the UK including London, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow with more than 30% of its output for international clients.

“We operate in eight languages, including Spanish, Mandarin and French,” said Reid. “Our international billings will continue to grow but we see no need to open international offices at the present time as we can operate from Britain and fly in for client meetings as required.

“The UK is at the forefront of digital marketing. We can match New York punch for punch when it comes to digital innovation and our digital marketers can be rightly proud of what we are achieving.

“We are sometimes seen as the poor cousins of American agencies. It’s not an accurate view. We have numerous clients in the US. They use us because we outgun American agencies when it comes to generating commercial results on an international scale.

“We have a strong commercial focus at Only Digital and our objective is to continually produce greater returns from existing budgets.”

Only Digital has a team of more than 30 digital communications and marketing specialists. Services include social media, PPC management, search engine optimisation and digital strategies. 

The rollout of the Only Digital website will be followed within a month by new websites for Beattie and Only Marketing.
