Silent Night – The Serious Side Of Christmas

Friday, 04 December 2015

With the run up to Christmas in full swing, it’s easy to forget that for many, the festive period can be a sad and lonely time.

To raise awareness of the social isolation caused by hearing loss, our client Specsavers hosted ‘Silent Night’ where top journalists and bloggers were able to truly understand just how lonely hearing loss can be.

Guests were invited to take part in a simulated hearing loss experience over a festive meal after they were fitted with gel moulds that replicate up to 70% hearing loss.

They soon discovered how difficult it was to converse over the dinner table, order from the menu or keep up with the conversation.
