Beattie, the creative communications group, has launched a residential training academy in Scotland.

The Beattie Bootcamp is located in Falkirk and, over the next 12 months, everyone in the company will undergo at least three days of residential training.

The company has also launched an online training academy enabling team members, at every level, to undertake additional courses and learn at their own pace.

The curriculum covers everything from personal development and problem solving to client management and advanced digital strategies.

Training will be delivered by in-house experts and external training consultants.

“We want to be an exemplar for the marketing and communications sector by providing the best and most extensive marketing and communications training in the UK,” said Laurna Woods, group managing director.

“Talented people are what separate one creative agency from another and we want our people to have the skills to deliver cutting-edge creative communications strategies.

“We have invested a six figure sum on teaching accommodation, course development and our online learning platform and we expect the Beattie Bootcamp to deliver benefits for our clients for years to come.”

The first course for nine members of staff will begin on June 22. Woods explained the agency is deliberately keeping class sizes small to facilitate a mix of group exercises and one-to-one training sessions.

Headquartered in London, Beattie has eight offices across the UK including Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Glasgow. 

It operates two brands in addition to Beattie – Only its family of specialist marketing boutiques and 11ten, its student recruitment consultancy.
