We are responsible for driving footfall to and raising awareness of the magnificent estates, castles and houses owned by the Duke of Buccleuch, including Dalkeith Country Park, Bowhill House and Country Estate, Drumlanrig Castle and Country Estate and Boughton House and Gardens.
We were tasked with launching a work of land art that is truly out of this world within the Duke's Queensberry Estate in Dunfries and Galloway. The Crawick Multiverse restoration project has seen the transformation of an open cast coalmine into a world-class visitor destination. The £1million artland, funded by the Duke and created by renowned landscape artist Charles Jencks.
We generated excitement ahead of the summer solstice by organising media 'sneak previews' and interviews and publicising the launch weekend with on-site performances and a symposium of lectures from world-leading scientists. We curated a bank of video footage and engaging content for use on social media.
To date we have achieved media coverage worth more than £500,000 across a broad spectrum of quality outlets including Condé Nast Traveller, The Times, Financial Times, The Art Newspaper and New Scientist. We are also currently working with top outdoors TV show Countryfile on a special episode filmed on location at Crawick. Coverage has featured on television, radio, newspapers (broadsheet and tabloid), specialist media (arts and science) and online.
