Beattie Communications Sign Commonwealth Stars

Beattie Communications has signed two of the stars who spearheaded the hugely successful PR and marketing campaigns at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Joining Team Beattie are Kate McCheyne, who was PR manager at Glasgow 2014, and digital marketing specialist Euan Harris.

“The Glasgow 2014 games were so successful, not just because of the athletes, but because of the team behind the event, and we are delighted to have recruited two of the key players,” said Laurna Woods, group managing director at Beattie Communications.

PR agency Beattie Communications is on track to spend £1m over the next six months recruiting top talent into its eight offices across the UK.

Woods added: “We have a few more signings in the pipeline across our PR, social and digital marketing teams. Good people are hard to find, and we are delighted to have recruited Kate and Euan.”

Kate was an account director at The Big Partnership before joining the Games’ team. Euan was with Plan International in Australia.
