Bringing Home A Successful Partnership

Tuesday, 02 June 2009

Leading Glasgow-based property developer, Merchant Homes, has successfully completed a landmark project on behalf of Thenew Housing Association, three months ahead of the scheduled date.

The development of 24 apartment units at the Park Court development in Carmyle, Glasgow, has been concluded earlier than anticipated in what has been a very successful joint venture.

The two and three bedroom apartments, available under the New Supply Shared Equity Scheme through Thenew Housing Association, have proven extremely popular, with just a couple of apartments remaining available.

Merchant Homes has forged partnerships with a number of Housing Associations in the last year; delivering quality, affordable homes to communities inScotland.

Alan Brander, Managing Director for Merchant Homes, said: “We are delighted that this has been such a thriving partnership and that we have completed the project well ahead of schedule.

“Partnerships such as this give us a chance to provide much needed affordable homes, built to the highest standards, to local communities. We look forward to completing similar ventures with our other current partners, and welcoming more on board.”

Merchant Homes has also recently announced a £3m partnership with Clyde Valley Housing Association.
