Countdown To Brand-New Marks Spencer Store Livingston

Marks & Spencer will open a brand-new 53,000 sq ft full offer store at The Centre, Livingston on Thursday 16th October.
The store will open at 10am with a traditional ribbon cut and customers will be invited to join the celebration with a complimentary glass of champagne. Entertainment throughout the day will include a DJ and chef demonstrations.
The new M&S will replace the Simply Food store in Livingston creating over 150 new jobs for the area.
From Thursday 16th to Saturday 18th personal shoppers and stylists will be on hand to give top tips on key trends for autumn/winter. Face painters will be in store throughout Saturday.
The store will offer a wider choice across the food and drink ranges previously available in the Livingston Simply Food, plus a variety of fashion for all the family. Womenswear will boast the Autograph and per una ranges whilst menswear will offer the Autograph range. Kidswear and a selection of homeware will also be available.
In the food hall over 2,000 quality Marks & Spencer products including the Cook! and Ingredients ranges, and fine wines, will be available. Customers will also be able to enjoy freshly baked items from an in-store bakery.
Shoppers can relax in the store’s 100-seat M&S Café which will serve a wide choice of hot and cold refreshments, including Fairtrade tea and coffee and an assortment of sandwiches, hand-made baguettes, toasted ciabattas and freshly baked pastries and cakes.
A Bureau de Change will also be available.

M&S Livingston will incorporate a number of initiatives in line with Plan A, M&S’s 100-point, five year ‘eco’ plan.
Water saving features such as dual flush toilets and self-closing taps will be fitted in the staff and customer facilities, whilst energy efficient escalators and lighting with movement sensors will help to save energy. Cycle racks will also be installed to encourage employees to cycle to the store.
The existing Livingston Simply Food store will continue to trade until the new store opens on Thursday 16th October.
