Easyjets Millionth Passenger Scoops Free Flights For Year

easyJet has marked flying a record one million passengers out of Gatwick airport during July by rewarding the millionth passenger with free flights for a year.
James Wood from St John's Wood, London, was surprised at check-in as he booked onto an easyJet flight to the popular Spanish resort of Malaga with girlfriend, Klara Levring. easyJet general manager, Paul Simmons, was on hand to congratulate the couple with a special boarding card entitling James to free flights up until July 2010.
James comments: "We have been looking forward to our first holiday together in Malaga and becoming this month's millionth passenger has got the holiday off to a fantastic start.
"With free easyJet flights for a year we're already planning which countries to visit next and want to tick as many destinations as possible off our wish list! My brothers also live abroad, so it will be great to pay them a few more visits over the coming months."
Paul Simmons, general manager for easyJet, adds: "We're proud of flying one million passengers out of Gatwick in July for the first time and what better way to celebrate than rewarding our millionth passenger.
