DEDICATED members of staff at a Mansfield opticians are celebrating following their successful return to the class room to study for further qualifications.

With support from her colleagues, former dispensing optician Janisha Seaman from Mansfield Specsavers hit the books as part of Specsavers' personal development programme and hasn't looked back, formally qualifying as an optometrist this month.

In addition to Janisha's exam success, colleague Tiffany Mills, a dispenser at the Westgate store has just embarked on the Optical Dispensing Assistant qualification, a year-long course which is the first step on the road to Tiffany becoming a dispensing optician.

The store has also boosted its team with a new appointment, welcoming optometrist Claire Gullen.  Claire, from Mansfield Woodhouse brings two years experience to the role and is already a valued member of the Westgate store's team.
