Psafilms Steps Out With Shoe Tailor

Film production company PSAfilms has just completed an internet film for home-shopping brand, The Shoe Tailor, to promote a series of roadshow events taking place this October.

The Shoe Tailor, which specialises in offering wide fitting footwear, contracted design agency Red C and Manchester-based PSAfilms to produce an internet film with fashion expert for ITV’s This Morning, Wendy Elsmore.

The short film aims to highlight the importance of having the correct shoe fitting, and is also being used to publicise the company’s high-profile roadshow events in London and Manchester.

Ben Swift, a director of PSAfilms explained, “The Shoe Tailor wanted to promote the roadshow to existing and potential customers via their website.

“We worked with the company to produce an internet film that would simultaneously promote their key messages and the roadshow events to users of The Shoe Tailor’s website, without eating heavily into the marketing budget.”

The project is one of an increasing number of contracts PSAfilms has been awarded for internet films. Others include; Maxim Magazine, Vision Express, home shopping brand Marisota, and Bennett’s Bike Insurance.

Ben explained, “Online films used to be a niche product for us, but with the growth of broadband, they have really taken off.

“We are finding that once advertisers try using internet films as part of their online marketing, they’re keen to use them again.

“Although it doesn’t hit the mass market in the same way as TV advertising does, online marketing is substantially cheaper and can still have dramatic effects.

“Potential customers can view and respond directly to the advertisement whenever they like, and with response rates immediately measurable, you can accurately measure how successful the campaign has been in terms of the return on investment for the marketing spend.

”We’re expecting this to be a growing market for us over the next few years.”
