Sale Completed For Prestigious Holiday Park Lancashire Beauty Spot

A HOLIDAY park spanning 20 acres on the edge of the Lake District has been sold by GVA Humberts Leisure for an undisclosed fee.
The UK’s leading leisure property consultant has secured the deal for Crook O’ Lune Holiday Park, near Lancaster, an established, high-quality site comprising of timber holiday lodges and modern static holiday homes.
Nestled in the heart of the Lancashire countryside, it is located half a mile from the village of Caton in the Lune Valley.
The site has a licence for 179 static holiday caravans, 57 twin unit lodge pitches and 107 holiday static pitches. It is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and takes its named from the popular beauty spot on the Lune River, just a few yards from the park entrance.
Peter Smith, director of GVA Humberts Leisure’s Leeds team, said: “It is rare for such an established, high quality holiday park situated in such a beautiful part of the countryside to be brought to the market. We received a number of enquiries and we are really pleased that a deal has been completed.”
The sale is the latest in a string of deals secured by GVA Humberts Leisure in the North of England, following the completion of sales for the 78-acre Riverside Park in Northumberland and the 178-pitch River View Holiday Park at Barnard Castle, County Durham, on behalf of North Dales LLP.
Three further parks are being marketed in the region by GVA Humberts Leisure – Thanet Well in Cumbria, Hillcroft Park at Pooley Bridge and Bridgend Residential Park in Wooler.
