Increase The Price To Maintain The Quality

I love eating out as is amply demonstrated by my
waistline.

I’ve had the privilege of dining in many celebrated
restaurants as well as family-run eateries where menus
are short, cooking is simple and taste tops the bill.

Imagine my joy, therefore, when a new Italian restaurant
opened up just a couple of miles from home.

The service was welcoming, the food excellent and the
house red outstanding. A conservative critic might have
scored the restaurant eight out of ten.

Picture my disappointment when I returned a few weeks
later to find the service a tad slow, the food not so tasty
and a watery vino replacing the splendid house red.

Nothing kills a restaurant or a brand faster than replacing
premium ingredients with cheaper alternatives.

When it’s essential to squeeze extra profit – increase
the price, don’t sacrifice the quality!
