New Technology Is Available To Everyone

We are obsessed with new.

New cars, new homes, new phones, new thinking, new
forms of government.

As marketers we get excited about the impact new
technologies will have on us spreading the gospel about
our brands. Will the new technology sound the death
knell for the old media – is the inevitable question.

The prophets of doom have been predicting the demise
of print media for decades. They said the internet would
kill off television and mobile would hasten the end of
the desk top.

They were wrong. Each of these channels remains a
legitimate route to market.

New technologies don’t give us a commercial advantage
as they are available to everyone.

At the end of the day, marketing ingenuity is what
distinguishes the winners from the losers!
