Praise And Criticism Are Bedfellows

I’m a fan of the carrot rather than the stick, that’s why
I love to praise our people when they achieve great
things.

We have some of the best PR and digital marketing
people in the UK and I wholeheartedly believe they
should be congratulated on their successes.

Having said that, I’m not afraid to rattle their cages if
they let their clients or themselves down by failing to
live up to their true potential.

In my book, criticism, more than praise, helps people
to grow.

People who are good welcome both praise and criticism.
Praise gives them a warm glow inside while balanced
criticism spurs them on to greater achievement.

Aristotle summed up life without criticism when he said:
“To avoid criticism say nothing, do nothing, be nothing.”
