Focus Groups Don’t Work

They may be popular with Hollywood studios,
publishers, TV programmers and marketers covering
their backsides but, in my not so humble opinion, focus
groups don’t work.

The proof is in the pudding…

If focus groups worked, every film would be a blockbuster,
every TV show would be a command performance and
every product would be a commercial success.

Focus groups may provide insights but they have never
made bad films good or poor products stars.

To find out what customers really want – use the
internet.

Internet feedback is faster, cheaper, more honest and
more insightful than any focus group!
