Beattie Communications is integrating its content creation and content marketing teams.
The joined up team will create every type of content that can be seen or heard and market it to the right audience on the right platform at the right time.
“Too many brands produce great content and then do nothing with it. We produce great content and promote it so that it reaches as many people as possible,” said Gordon Beattie, founder and chairman of Beattie Communications.
“If content is king, content marketing is queen. They should sit side by side and not in separate silos.
“Creators and marketers should constantly be sparking off each other and coming up with fresh ideas for content creation and content promotion.
“There is no point in producing content that is uploaded to social channels and forgotten about.
“That content needs to be supported with advertising or it will never see the light of day.
“Platforms like YouTube, Facebook and Instagram are not social enterprises. They will only showcase your content if you put an ad budget behind it.
“Right now it’s cheap to advertise on Facebook and Instagram but brands are pouring money down the drain if they create content and fail to support it with advertising.”
