Beattie, the integrated communications agency, has had the most successful December and January in its 35-year history.
Beattie Communications added nine new clients and a swath of additional business from existing customers across construction, house building, healthcare, food, beauty, hospitality and retail.
“Our gross profit rose by £535,000 over a two-month period that’s normally a quiet time for new business,” said chairman Gordon Beattie.
“We were flat out in December, there was no let-up in January, and February is already shaping up to be another excellent month.
“At the half-way stage of our financial year, we are 25% ahead of the same period last year.
“Much of our success is because clients have resolved to throw off the lockdown blues and are determined to make up for revenue lost in last year’s lockdown.
“Our clients are overcoming the restrictions by introducing innovative ways of working and more aggressive marketing. We’ve never been busier building new websites, driving digital marketing campaigns, spearheading social media outreach and instigating content marketing strategies.
“Our customers have proved their resilience by refusing to bow down to the crippling financial impact of the pandemic and have demonstrated that not even the most stringent lockdown restrictions can hold them back.
