Easter delivery for dream makers
Wednesday, 12 April 2017
BIG-hearted staff at a Glasgow PR and communications firm played Easter Bunny and donated a medley of Easter eggs to charity the DreamMaker Foundation.
Team members from Beattie, the creative communications group, gifted the sweet treats to Les Hoey MBE’s much-loved charity, which supports children across Scotland with life-threatening illnesses.
Beattie’s Director for Scotland, Joanne Spence, said: “Les and the DreamMaker Foundation carry out invaluable work for children and families going through the toughest of times.
“Many of the children the foundation helps will be spending Easter in hospital – so with that in mind, we wanted to support the charity’s efforts to make the occasion as special as possible for the youngsters and their loved ones.”
Les and a group of volunteers started this good work throughout Scotland in 1992 and The DreamMaker Foundation became a registered charity in 2014. From meeting their idols to enjoying fun-filled days out, the charity aims to bring a smile to the face of children with life-threatening illnesses and their siblings.
