Beattie, the integrated communications agency, has been appointed by The Trafford Centre to lead its integrated B2B communications.

The iconic shopping, food and leisure destination is the most successful retail location outside of London. The Trafford Centre has emerged with new asset and property management teams in place and a renewed commitment to driving commercial success for the 220+ famous brands already located there, as well as the reputation of the centre to attract an exciting portfolio of new businesses.

Beattie will deliver a fully integrated B2B programme via an ABM strategy which will include content, PR, social, eCRM and a full mix of paid digital channels to optimise every stage of the customer journey.

Wayne Silver, MD of Integrated Marketing at Beattie, said: “We have been talking to the senior team at The Trafford Centre for some time and are delighted to be appointed to help them achieve their commercial and marketing objectives by integrating all of their B2B activity and aligning it fully with their B2C strategy.

“The centre is a jewel in the crown of UK retail and a prestigious client we’re very proud to be associated with.”

Rachel Gladwin, Beattie’s MD of England & Wales said: “It’s another great addition to the Beattie family of clients.”

Nick Williams, senior director at The Trafford Centre, added: “The Trafford Centre is such a bellwether of consumer confidence and, despite the current pandemic, we have a raft of exciting announcements and new developments which will keep this amazing destination firmly at the forefront of the retail and leisure sector both in the North West and nationally. Beattie has demonstrated a thorough understanding of the retail and property sectors along with destination marketing expertise, so we are looking forward to working with them across all aspects of our B2B communications programme.”

Headquartered in London, Beattie has 16 offices in the UK and Canada including Glasgow, Belfast, Toronto and Calgary. The Trafford Centre team will be based in its Leeds and Manchester offices.
