Content creation and content marketing will become even bigger fee generators for Beattie, the integrated communications agency, over the next 12 months.

Clients are increasingly demanding films, podcasts, websites, blogs, creative design and motion graphics for content marketing campaigns on social media and other channels.

“We’ve been highlighting to clients that they need to fish where consumers congregate and that’s social media,” said agency founder Gordon Beattie.

“People are paying less and less attention to traditional media including TV channels, billboards and direct mail. People of every age now have their eyes glued to the likes of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter.

“You need content to attract attention on social media and that’s why we anticipate growing our content creation and content marketing teams by 50% over the next 12 months.

“We’re already producing scores of videos, podcasts, blogs and websites every year but demand is growing each and every month and we are going into recruitment mode to keep up with demand.

“Right now we urgently need more design talent and ideally we would like to bring another Umbraco developer on board as our website development order book continues to grow.”
