Tuesday, 07 August 2012
GVA, the UK's largest independent commercial property advisor, has appointed a new surveyor to its growing Planning, Development and Regeneration team in Leeds.
Adam Osborne has joined the eight-strong department at GVA's City Point offices in King Street.
Adam brings sixyears' experience specialising in development appraisal and viability as well as land and property disposals. He has worked across the private and public sectors, including a role at Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and Drivers Jonas Deloitte. Adam will bring industry knowledge to the team and bolster its experience in these specialist areas.
He will play a key role in winning additional briefs which will enable future expansion and make GVA's Planning, Development and Regeneration division a market leading team.
Paul Manning, senior regional director for the Leeds office, says: "In the past year we have recruited 18 new staff, nine at director and associate level. Nationally GVA is spearheading a major expansion via company acquisitions to gain market share in niche areas. Our intensive recruitment drive here in Leeds; supplemented by an organic growth programme, is serving to support that wider expansion process, and equally bolster our position in the Leeds and wider Yorkshire market. We're strengthening the Leeds team to good effect by securing the best people who will provide an outstanding service to existing and future clients."
