Scotland’s Theme Park is set to celebrate autumn by hosting an array of seasonal activities including a Pumpkin Festival, a haymazing hay maze, vintage style fun fair Halloween themed games, spooky storytelling and themed food and hot drinks.

All activities will take place outdoors in front of the Alona Hotel from 13 to 21 October with two time slots each day; 11am – 1pm, and 2pm – 4pm. A range of ticket options will be available ranging from £6 to £16.

The Pumpkin Festival will have a pumpkin patch area with 3,000 pumpkins of all different sizes looking for new homes which will be available priced from £5 - £10. Revellers will be able to choose their own and use a wheelbarrow to haul it back through the patch.

A fully accessible hay maze has been assembled for attendees to find their way through and with ‘spooktacular’ games and ghostly storytelling, this is an experience for the whole family to enjoy.

Autumnal hot and cold treats will also be available to keep guests fed and watered throughout the day.

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “With the success of Outbreak in recent years, we’re really looking forward to expanding our range of activities offered at this time of year.

“This is the perfect opportunity for families to make the most of the school holidays by taking part in some traditional games, or really get into the Halloween spirit with some pumpkin picking.

“We will also be offering visitors a ride all day wristband for £8 during the Pumpkin Festival, so there will be something for the whole family to enjoy. We are encouraging all visitors coming along to dress appropriately to really enjoy the full experience.”

The theme park is open right through the October holidays from 13 to 21 October. Visitors can also experience glow-in-the-dark ten pin bowling at Cosmic Bowl;18-hole mini adventure golf at Devil’s Island Golf and Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest, Amazonia.
