BEATTIE APPOINTS DIRECTOR OF EASTERN CANADA
Wednesday, 22 January 2020
Beattie, the integrated communications agency, has appointed PR veteran Nicole Amiel to drive the growth of its Beattie Tartan brand across Eastern Canada.
Based in Toronto, Nicole will lead the company’s expansion throughout Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes, to deliver Beattie’s fully integrated proposition including PR, digital, social and content to existing and new clients.
Laurna Woods, CEO of Beattie Group, said: “It was our longstanding reputation for implementing completely integrated strategies and programs for some of the largest companies in the UK and Canada that drew Nicole to the agency.”
Nicole said: “The one-stop-shop approach pioneered by Beattie in the UK has allowed the Canadian arm of the firm to stand apart from competitors on this side of the pond as it has built up its west coast and central Canadian operations.
“I am eager to bring Beattie holistic approach to companies and brands in Toronto and eastern Canada.”
Nicole has worked in public relations, communications, marketing and events in Montreal, Miami and Toronto for nearly 15 years at KWT Global (Toronto), Holmes PR (Toronto), rock-it promotions (Toronto), NKPR (Toronto), 1Milk2Sugars (Montreal), ALDO Group (Montreal) and Carma PR (formerly ROC Media; Miami).
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a specialisation in both print and broadcast media from Concordia University in Montreal. She also studied at UCLA in California and City University in London, UK.
