Belfast Beauties Compete For Best Wag Crown

Monday, 30 March 2009

Northern Ireland's favourite airline, easyJet, is on the lookout for Belfast's answer to Coleen Rooney and Alex Curran to send to one of the most high profile WAG fashion events of the year.

Celebrating a decade of flights from Belfast to Liverpool, easyJet have teamed up with Cool FM to launch their 'WAGS go to the NAGS' competition this week.

The airline is on the look out for Belfast beauties who think they have got what it takes to rival real-life WAGS in the style and beauty stakes.

Belfast's own would-be WAGs will be short listed to battle it out in a live final next week, for the chance to visit the UK's WAG capital and attend this year's prestigious Grand National event at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool.

Carly Brear, easyJet's UK commercial manager, said: "Belfast is such a stylish city that we wanted to give some lucky ladies the chance to mingle with style icons including Coleen Rooney at one of the main fashion events of the year.

"Like Belfast, Liverpool is a city where women love to look their best, so we've put together a fantastic package giving would-be WAGS the opportunity to dress to impress and enjoy all that the Grand National and Liverpool's fantastic night life has to offer."

The competition will culminate in a grand WAG-style beauty pageant at Belfast's Connswater Shopping Centre on Wednesday 1st April hosted by Cool FM DJ Connor Phillips.

The most convincing would-be WAG on the day will then jet off to Liverpool with three friends and £500 spending money to attend Ladies' Day and the Grand National on 3rd and 4th April.

To enter, visit the Coolfm.co.uk website, upload a photo and let them know why you think you should be crowned the best WAG before the closing date of 30th March 2009.
