Belle of the ball

Wednesday, 16 May 2018

Tiny tot Orla Sutherland (aged 18 months, from Glasgow) explores the sea of bluebells at Dalkeith Country Park.

The Park is making the most of its blossoming bluebells with a special trail visitors can follow which takes them on the best route to spot the spring flowers and also includes fun facts about the popular blooms.

Julia Duncan, Countryside Ranger at Dalkeith Country Park, said: “Our woods look spectacular with the blue and violet tones of the bluebells bringing a beautiful pop of colour.

“This is the perfect time to take a stroll along our bluebell trail to see these lovely flowers before they disappear.”
