Tuesday, 27 January 2009
As companies across the region brace themselves for challenging times ahead, the IoD in North Yorkshire is hosting an event which will provide practical information on how firms can combat the crunch, improve their performance and grow their business in 2009.
The Business Building Workshop, to be held at The Innovation Centre at York Science Park on Thursday 5th February, will bring together three experts in the fields of marketing, PR and business development. The practical workshop session will equip attendees with the tools needed to secure their business and deliver growth in the face of current economic conditions.
The half-day event features presenters from Brighter Marketing, an agency which focuses on delivering marketing strategies that contribute directly to growth; Catalyst Business Development, a consultancy that specialises in improving results and performance; and Harrogate-based public relations firm, Quest PR.
Leigh Foster, vice chairman of the IoD in North Yorkshire comments: "This event offers the opportunity to receive practical, hands-on advice from those in the know on how to grow your business, even in challenging times such as these. The experts leading the workshop are ideally placed to provide attendees with the tools required to create a real difference in their business performance."
