“Across the West of Scotland, we have a pledge to support the local communities in which we build and supporting the Glasgow Warriors and the kids camps throughout the season is a great way to do this. The camp programme helps to build confidence and friendships amongst children and encourages them to be active and enjoy sports. It really is a great opportunity for young people to experience.

“As official sponsor, we wish the Glasgow Warriors the best of luck and look forward to tracking their progress in the new season ahead.”

The CALA Homes Warriors Camps programme is aimed at primary 1 through to under 18 age groups and provides well organised and structured activities, utilising the experienced and qualified coaches from the Glasgow Warriors’ community coaching team.

As part of the camps there will be an opportunity to meet some of the players from the Glasgow Warriors’ team as well as joining in on activities with them; receive a Glasgow Warriors kit pack and individual action plan as well as receiving tutoring from qualified coaches.

CALA Homes will also have a presence in the official matchday magazine and on perimeter boards at Scotstoun Stadium for PRO14 league games, as well as on the Glasgow Warriors website.

Glasgow Warriors managing director Nathan Bombrys added: “CALA Homes (West) have helped us develop our camps programme for young rugby players and it’s great to see them continue to grow in popularity across our region. We held camps in Aberdeen, Oban and Glasgow during the summer, giving more and more kids get the opportunity to train like a Warrior and develop their confidence and improve their rugby skills.
