M&D’s has a #funtastical action-packed programme of events planned this September weekend, sure to keep little pirates and princesses entertained.

The two-day schedule of free activities takes place between 12pm and 6pm on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 September and includes pirate school, where youngsters will learn everything they need to know about being a pirate as well as princess sing-alongs and treasure hunts.

Jensen Taylor Connelly, director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “Our Pirates and Princesses weekend will be sure to entertain kids throughout the kingdom, we all know kids love to dress up so we are looking forward to seeing some great costumes.”

Scotland’s theme park is also offering a packed entertainment programme delivered by the superb Starcast team on Friday 22 and Monday 25 September. Activities include circus fun with ringmaster Whippy and Juggles the clown, bubble mania and craft time.

Jensen added: “In addition to the fabulous Starcast programme, there’s lots to keep the entire family entertained at M&D’s this September weekend including our magnificent indoor tropical rainforest, Amazonia; glow-in-the-dark bowling alley, Cosmic Bowl, Krazy Congo soft play and Devil’s Island adventure golf.”

M&D’s is also home to more than 40 family friendly rides and attractions. Families can take advantage of the theme park’s £10 ride-all-day wristband offer, exclusively available to customers who pre-book via the website more than 24 hours in advance.

Visitors to Amazonia can spot its newest additions – five baby ringed teal ducklings as well as an abundance of tropical creatures found in the rainforests of South America.

There is also a range of delicious restaurants, with Big Al’s Deli and Big Al’s Grill Guru the newest additions for 2017, offering a selection of burgers, hot dogs and light bites.
