Chance to scale new heights at Bowhill

An exhilarating new activity is set to arrive at Bowhill House and Country Estate and will be first time the experience has been available to try in the Scottish Borders.
Thrill-seekers can scale one of the Estate’s beautiful 200-year-old mighty Oak trees during Bowhill’s first ever tree climbing session on Saturday 5th May.
The sessions – which will see participants climb heights of up to 70 ft – will be delivered by experts from Wild Tree Adventures and are suitable for anyone aged six and over.
Tim Chamberlain, Director of Wild Tree Adventures, said: “Tree climbing is a great way to explore the natural world and at the same time get great exercise and bucketful’s of fresh air.
“We’ll be on hand to supply the equipment required and offer expert guidance. Tree climbing is a fantastic activity for all the family.
“Bowhill is a truly stunning location and I’m delighted to partner with the Estate. I’m looking forward to enjoying spectacular views from the top of some of Bowhill’s magnificent trees.”

“Tree climbing will be a unique way to explore the Estate from a different perspective and is sure to offer some spectacular views of the countryside.

Tree climbing sessions will take place on 5th May and 11th August between 10am and 4pm and costs £20 for an hour long session.
