Dedicated Followers Fashion - Cruise 118 Hosts One-Off Catwalk Event
Monday, 02 March 2009
Travel retailer Cruise118 is hosting a unique Cruise Fashion Evening in partnership with Logan's Fashions and Belfast charity 'Shine a Light'.
The exclusive event will be held at Belfast's Stormont Hotel at 7.30pm, 5th March 2009 and will showcase the new Spring Summer collections from Logan's Fashions in Cloughmills, near Ballymena, providing must-have fashion looks for this summer's cruise holiday.
Guests at the show will get a sneak preview of the latest Logan's ranges from designers including Laurel, Marc Cain and Gerry Weber, as well as receiving exclusive deals and holiday advice from Cruise118 representatives.
Helen Stewart from Cruise118 is based in Coleraine and organised the event. She said: "With the sheer variety of experiences involved in an average cruise holiday, it's great to be able to get inspiration from the experts in looking stylish and dressing for all occasions.
"We were keen to team up with Logan's Fashions as they have stylish clothes to suit men and women of all ages, and it is a perfect opportunity to show off their fantastic new range as people are thinking about summer holiday wardrobes.
"We are also pleased to be raising funds for the 'Shine a Light' charity which does important work in helping enhance the lives of young people throughout the province diagnosed with cancer."
Shine a Light has been established for 15 years and was founded by Belfast based Billy McCrory. The charity organises trips and experiences for children with cancer to improve their quality of life. Visits to places such as Disneyland, London or even a music concert can enhance a child's life and help them to forget their illness even for a short time.
Guests on the night will have the chance to win cruise prizes and take advantage of exclusive fashion and cruise discounts whilst professional models strut down the catwalk in Logan's latest styles.
Ivor Boyd of Logan's Fashions is pleased to be using this new platform to introduce his Spring Summer collections. He said: "When Cruise118 approached me to be their partner for the fashion show I jumped at the opportunity.
"My clothes are a perfect fit with the style and elegance found on a cruise ship and many of my customers come into the boutique at this time of year looking for pieces to wear on their holidays. It should be a superb evening and I'm looking forward to showing off my collection in such a stylish setting."
