Easynet Helps Pinnacle Technology Transform And Enhance Connectivity Estate
Tuesday, 16 September 2014
Pinnacle Technology Group plc has formed a new strategic relationship with global network connectivity solutions specialist Easynet that will help it to open up new market opportunities.
Drawing on the strength, size and capacity of Easynet’s carrier integration network – and a resource base of world class engineering expertise – IT managed services provider Pinnacle will now be able to tailor enhanced, secure connectivity solutions for any size of customer in multiple market segments.
The move will internally reduce structural complexity for Pinnacle while increasing cost-effectiveness, with its operations and engineering teams set to consolidate business processes as part of a phased transformation and migration of the organisation’s legacy network.
This will culminate in a new high capacity, resilient access network – jointly operated with Easynet, whose global network connectivity solutions are created from the widest possible choice of access technologies and infrastructure – from 4G mobile, to copper and fibre ethernet.
Furthermore, Pinnacle’s customers will benefit from a ‘one stop shop’ approach to enhanced, high performance connectivity access solutions with better speeds, choice and enhanced customer service.
AIM listed Pinnacle – currently undergoing a turnaround under the new Board and CEO, Nicholas Scallan – will have the ability to ensure customers can benefit from market leading services and support, enabled by Easynet’s online suite of service applications.
Darron Giddens, Group Finance Director at Pinnacle Technology, said: “The Easynet relationship is a significant step forward in our plans to provide highly secure, scalable and value-added connectivity services to our customers.
“We are certain that the level of collaboration and support that Easynet is providing will engender significant business growth, cost savings and improved customer service.”
Mike Ayres, Managing Director of Channel Partners at Easynet, said: “Pinnacle Technology has a clear strategy, which is to work closely with a very small number of ‘best of breed’ vendors.
“Easynet is uniquely positioned to provide a commercial, networking and operational environment that will enhance and develop Pinnacle’s service capabilities.
“The new leadership at Pinnacle has quickly grasped the opportunity to simplify and commercially streamline this part of its business, and we believe that this will further enhance its turnaround strategy."
