Egg-cellent time had by all at Dalkeith Country Park
Wednesday, 19 April 2017
Violet and Elizabeth Robbeloth (aged 8 and 10) from the USA were amongst the crowds of visitors who took part in the egg hunt at Dalkeith Country Park during its Easter celebrations.
They were treated to a selection of egg-citing family activities throughout the long weekend.
Hundreds of eggs were hidden around Fort Douglas playground, and finders got the chance to exchange them for delicious chocolate versions.
A special Easter activity tent offered face painting and crafts. Meanwhile, archery sessions also took place over the long weekend and toddlers had the chance to try out a brand new tractor track and agility course.
Wellbeing Lab - in the Park’s luxury retail and leisure destination, Restoration Yard - hosted an Easter Yoga Egg-stravaganza which included egg painting and Easter-themed yoga fun.
