More than 100 children and their families had a first glimpse at M&D’s spectacular Christmas celebrations.

Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation brought the group to Santa’s Magical Wonderland to enjoy a host of festive activities a day ahead of its official opening on 18 November.

The families were able to sample all the delights on offer including a spectacular grotto, live reindeer, storytelling sessions and animated Christmas scenes as well as its open air ice rink.

M&D’s also organised a delicious buffet and a face painter to make the day extra special.

The charity is Scotland’s Theme Park’s nominated charity of the year and is helping it to create memorable experiences in central Scotland within close distance to the Royal Sick Kids hospital in Glasgow.

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “We wanted to give the children the Les Hoey MBE DreamMaker Foundation supports a wonderful experience with their families this festive season.

“We gave the group the VIP treatment with the chance to see Santa’s Magical Wonderland before everyone else. “

Les Hoey MBE added: “M&D’s created a very generous family day out that all our families thoroughly enjoyed.

“We are very grateful for its support.”
