Thomas Davies, Global Director at Google for Work, opened the brand new Netpremacy Leeds HQ on Friday 15th April.

The revolutionary office interior is unlike any office space currently in Leeds City Centre having brought together innovative designs from Google offices around the globe. The newly installed interiors have been designed to provide a world class environment that staff can thrive in and provide an even greater customer experience for clients.

Cloud computing and security firm, Netpremacy recently upgraded to an office space three times larger than its former headquarters. Now occupying 5,000 sq. ft. of the ground floor at the fully let 6 Wellington Place, Netpremacy embarked upon a £400,000 fit out programme. Key features of the impressive interior design include a state of the art spaceship style interactive board room, a wooded grassland break out area together with soundproofed conferencing booths and bespoke handmade office furnishings.

With offices in London, Hong Kong and California, the leading Google partner celebrated the move of its Leeds HQ in style. The celebration event was attended by Google, Netpremacy employees and fellow 6 Wellington Place residents. Guests were serenaded with a powerful performance from up and coming singer songwriter JJ Rosa commended by Labrinth and Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie. Invitees also enjoyed catering from popular Leeds restaurant, Reds True BBQ.

Michael Carter, CEO at Netpremacy, said: “It’s a really exciting time for Netpremacy and we’re really looking forward to making ourselves at home in our brand new Leeds HQ at 6 Wellington Place. I wanted to create an environment that our employees can flourish in and enrich the way that they work. Each section of the office is designed to provide the opportunity for our talented teams to reach their full potential. Our new headquarters is more than just an office; the right office environment sets the bar for office moral and I want our specialists to enjoy working here just as much as they enjoy being at home.

“We’ve worked with MEPC for more than 10 years so it made complete sense when we were expanding the office to move into the latest phase of its development. It’s a brand new high-tech modern premier grade office facility and that is exactly what we need being a constantly evolving technology business. There is such a great sense of community here at Wellington place and I strongly believe it will be a new business hub for Leeds, and one that that we are proud to be a part of.”

James Dipple Chief Executive of MEPC, said: “We’re thrilled to see Netpremacy move into their new office space and what’s more I’m amazed by the interior design of the fit-out. It’s great to see existing tenants in Wellington Place expanding into larger premises and reinforces the attractions of this community which is enjoyed by more than 2,000 professionals who benefit from the environment we have created for them in the heart of the new corporate district of Leeds.”

Netpremacy was created in 2000, with the aim to use the most innovative technologies to solve complex business needs. As the leading supplier of Google at Work continues to grow, housing over 4,000 customers including Just Eat, Travelodge, Odeon, Expedia, Aviva and more. Netpremacy required a larger space to house additional team members to meet growing business demands.
