Gordon Beattie, the founder of Beattie Communications, has penned his fourth business book.

Thought For The Day Volume III has an illuminating marketing idea, a business insight or inspirational story for every day of the year.

Unlike his earlier books, Thought For The Day Volume III contains a daily photograph of Gordon and his team in the UK and North America. 

“It’s a business book slanted towards marketing and communications professionals. My hope is that it provokes debate, challenges marketing baloney and stimulates creative thinking,” he said.

“We live in an age where so called gurus over-complicate life, business and marketing. This book debunks business, demystifies marketing and simplifies life in general.

The latest publication is, in fact, Gordon’s fifth book. Previous books have included The Gift and a book containing inspirational quotes.  

A former journalist, Gordon founded Beattie, the integrated communications agency, 33 years ago. The consultancy has 130 staff in the UK and Canada and offices in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Toronto, Vancouver and Calgary. 

A serial entrepreneur, he has also invested in numerous business ventures including a travel insurance firm, a whisky retailing business and a ferry company.
