Gva Grimley Enables Czech Expansion For Fabory
Tuesday, 11 May 2010
The contract is multi-faceted, with the Leeds Building team project monitoring the nine month build programme and the London International team negotiating the terms and structure of the lease with the landlord and developer, with local assistance from an associate based in Prague, Mike Di Nicola.
The Leeds Building team prepared the development specification and planned the design of the office space to meet Fabory's requirements and once the project starts on site, they will carry out monthly inspections to monitor the build, ensuring that the quality, progress and costs are to the agreed specifications and that the project is delivered on schedule.
The new multi-million pound warehouse will help facilitate Fabory Group's expansion plan which includes the launch of 45 new shops per year across Europe during the next two to three years.
"The team has extensive international experience so we're well placed to effectively deal with large scale projects to guarantee cost-efficiencies for our clients and have in the past saved up to €1million in development costs on a single project in Luxembourg."
"The contract win also clearly demonstrates how GVA Grimley works hand-in-hand throughout its multidisciplinary offer and network of 12 UK offices to pull together a specialist team to deliver bespoke projects for its clients."
Fabory Group distributes fastening materials, systems and tools for the whole industry for both production and repair & maintenance purposes. It has 85 shops across 15 countries, has several warehouses across the world and employees a team of more than 1,600 fastener specialists.
