Monday, 22 March 2010
Local business leaders will this week get the chance to hear Hull City Chairman, Adam Pearson's plans for keeping the club in the Premiership at a special networking event held by the Institute of Directors (IoD).
Hull City has experienced a turbulent few weeks, which have seen a change in management as the club aims to pull itself out of the Premier League relegation places.
This event, which will be held at the KC Stadium on Thursday 25th March, will see Mr Pearson taking part in a question and answer session with attendees from across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
Richard Tuplin, Chairman of the IoD's East Yorkshire (Humber) Branch, comments: 'Hull City's Premiership status has had a hugely beneficial economic impact on the city and the sub region as a whole.
'This event will provide IoD members and their guests with a key opportunity to quiz Adam about his vision for Hull City's future and how the recent managerial changes will enable this to be achieved and we look forward to a lively and interesting discussion.'
The free networking evening, which is part of the new IoD Connect event series, will take place at the KC Stadium from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
