Kall Kwik Calls Chester Retailers To Combat Crunch

Local print and design centre Kall Kwik Chester has launched an innovative campaign to fight off the credit crunch which is currently crippling the nation's retail sector.

Buoyed by the success of its boutique stores, Chester's high street is proving resilient in the face of the downturn and, in order to ensure that the city's retailers continue to buck the national trend, Kall Kwik Chester has created a business-to-business retailer discount club.

The Watergate Street centre is encouraging retailers to work together, offering money-saving deals on a range of print materials to members of the discount club.   Members can also share their own offers with other retailers signed up to the initiative.

Centre owner Anne Kennedy, who runs the franchise with business partner David Lewis, drew on the experience gained over from over 20 years on the city's high street to create a targeted crunch-busting scheme.

Comments Anne: "The introduction of a discount club is a real opportunity for Chester's retailers to pull together and help each other out in these challenging times by keeping costs low.  In addition to offering monthly deals and creating the inter-business site, Kall Kwik is able to assist in marketing members' promotional drives by printing short runs of flyers or producing cost-effective branded merchandise."

Adds David: "The success of the initiative is in the hands of our friends on the High Street - the more retailers that join us, the more benefits this scheme will bring to our city's retailers."
