Local organisations and projects across Aberdeen looking for the chance to receive a share of the £10,000 CALA Homes Community Bursary are being urged to get their applications in before the closing date of 23rd March.

Now in its third year, the scheme aims to provide support for a wide range of charities, schools and good causes in the areas in which CALA operates. In 2017, 11 initiatives across the north east of Scotland region received a share of the funds including SensationALL, CHAS and Pitscurry Day Service.

Mike Naysmith, Managing Director for CALA Homes (North) comments: “CALA has always been committed to making a positive and lasting contribution to the communities in which it builds, through an active programme of local charity donations, community support and sponsorship. The community bursary scheme gives us the chance to find out exactly what support is needed locally and provides the opportunity for charities and groups of all sizes to apply for funds.

“The deadline for entries is fast approaching and we would urge any local organisations that would like to be considered for a share of the community bursary to apply now.”

More information, terms and conditions, and a downloadable application form can be found on the CALA Homes website: www.cala.co.uk/bursary-north.

The closing date for applications is Friday 23rd March 2018.
