Leeds Salon Dares Customers To Bare All
Friday, 04 September 2009
Despite the holiday season being at an end, a Leeds-based salon is encouraging the city's most beauty-conscious residents to get their beachwear back on for the chance to scoop a course of luxury hair removal treatment.
Saks Hair & Beauty in the Queens Arcade is inviting people to attend the opening day of its 50% off Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatment week for the chance to bag a free course of the treatment worth up to £1,000. The only catch is they must be dressed in skimpy swimwear to be in with a chance of winning.
Paul Carrigan, owner of Saks Hair & Beauty in Leeds explains: "IPL is an innovative treatment that works by using a broad spectrum of light, emitted in short pulses. The light travels down the hair to the follicle and destroys the cells responsible for hair growth.
"As between six and 12 sessions are required, depending on the size of the area being treated, now is the ideal time to start a course of the hair removal treatment to be hair-free, ready for next year's holiday.
"We're looking for Leeds' bravest beauty queens (and kings) to bare all to be in with a chance of winning a free course of the treatment worth up to £1,000."
Those wishing to enter the competition need to arrive outside Saks Hair & Beauty, Queens Arcade, 74-75 Briggate no later than 10am on Monday 21st September. The person in the skimpiest swimwear will be awarded the prize.
The special 50% off IPL promotion week runs from 21st to 27th September. All IPL courses booked during that week will receive a 50% discount. For more information call 0113 246 7666.
