A UK hotel group has today (Tuesday 4 December) launched a campaign to fill the ‘suitest’ job role within the hotel industry.

Apex Hotels is calling on applications from across the UK in a bid to find a ‘Luxury Lifestyle Consultant’. The successful applicant will be the first to experience the group’s brand new offering in London – one of the soon-to-be launched Grand Suites within Apex Temple Court Hotel.

The 184-bed property, on the capital’s Fleet Street, has taken on a £6 million extension its neighbouring historic building, creating four luxurious Grand Suites and one Temple Suite – with 20 brand new bedrooms created within the existing hotel building. The development will also see a stylish and decadent wine bar along with private dining rooms launched for guests to enjoy.

In a first for the hotel group, the Luxury Lifestyle Consultant will be tasked with immersing themselves in a new, luxurious Grand Suite for two nights, making sure it is ready for the general public in early 2019.

The winner will receive the specially-created Luxury Lifestyle Consultant title for the weekend and will be given full access to an Apex Grand Suite – a sumptuous one-bedroom apartment, complete with king-sized bed, stunning living room, decadent marble bathroom with underfloor heating, plus a stylish open plan dining and kitchen area.

From the moment they arrive for a private, in-suite check-in, over two nights the winner can enjoy the suite’s personal concierge service, soak in the bath tub, put the luxury linens and pillows to the test, curl up on one of the velvet sofas in front of the big screen TV, enjoy the fully stocked and personalised mini-bar and take in the hotel’s gym and Club Lounge.

Whether the Luxury Lifestyle Consultant decides to cosy up in front of the fireplace and enjoy a night in with fine food and wine provided by the hotel’s chef, or use the suite as a base to hit the streets of London to see what the prime location has to offer, they will have full reign to test the suite as they see fit. Covent Garden and Somerset House are both a short ten-minute stroll away, and for those wanting to make the most of the immediate surroundings, they can enjoy one of London’s newest wine bars, housed on the ground floor of the Fleet Street suites.

Karl Mitchell, General Manager at Apex Temple Court Hotel, said: “Apex Temple Court Hotel is steeped in history and we have gone to great lengths to strip back each suite to reveal some of the original features including fireplaces and marble, whilst adding modern and stylish touches throughout with bespoke furniture and fittings to create a luxurious bolthole within the heart of the city.

“What better way to make sure we are ready to welcome paying guests than have our very own Apex Luxury Lifestyle Consultant experience all our lavish Grand Suites have to offer. It’s a tough job relaxing in beautiful surroundings, enjoying the finer things in life, but I’m sure we will find a suitable candidate up for the challenge of a lifetime.”

Apex Hotels will take applications from today until midnight on 7th of January, and hopefuls must summarise in up to 100 words why they would be the ideal candidate to take on this role. To be in with a chance of winning the ‘suitest’ job please, check out Facebook.
