Integrated marketing and communications agency, Beattie, has promoted the head of its Manchester office to direct the firm’s UK-wide B2B division.

Siobhan Chesher will continue to head Beattie’s Manchester team while overseeing the agency’s existing B2B account portfolio and driving new business across multiple sectors including technology, the built environment, manufacturing, energy, waste management and finance.

Chesher, who joined Beattie Communications in 2005, said: “I’m proud to be leading a team of experienced B2B marketing professionals at Beattie who live and breathe their specialisms and provide strategic consultancy to some of the UK’s most high profile businesses.

“In what are set to be challenging times ahead for many industries, effective communications has never been so important, and now is the ideal time for businesses to review their strategies and plan ahead for success.”

The Beattie B2B division, which has a team of 18 PR, digital, social and content specialists, has its own dedicated website – www.onlyb2bmarketing.com.

Siobhan adds: “Over the years it’s been a pleasure to see our B2B division grow as clients come to us for intelligent and creative consultancy with a strong commercial focus. I started my career in consumer PR, so hold the firm belief that B2B communications should be just as innovative and exciting – a business audience expects this just as much as a consumer audience.”

Laurna Woods, CEO at Beattie, commented: “Siobhan brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and passion to our B2B team at Beattie and I’m confident she can build on the team’s reputation for providing outstanding strategic counsel to clients.”

Beattie’s B2B clients include Wates Construction, Norbord, the Institution of Civil Engineers and environmental firm TOMRA.

London headquartered Beattie Communications has 16 offices in the UK, Ireland and Canada including Leeds, Glasgow, Belfast, Victoria and Toronto.
