 Notes for Editors:

The orchestra, made up of 18 to 25 year olds, many of whom are students, has enjoyed remarkable success over the past 3 years.  Along with their fantastic Summer and Gala concerts, the orchestra enjoyed a “sell out performance” at the “Stars on Parade” (2013) charity concert at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.  From their appearance on stage with soloists and a Britain's Got Talent Winner they have certainly shown us their versatile repertoire and certainly earned their reputation as a showcase for young Scottish talent.

They recorded an album with Karl Loxley who appeared on BBC The Voice as well as the charity single for the Lord Provost Queens Street Fund with River City start Tom Urie. The orchestra also had the privilege of playing for the Medal Unveiling for the Commonwealth Games 2014.
