Wednesday, 25 July 2012
A leading UK accountant and wealth management firm has taken new town centre premises at Wilton Developments prestigious Mitre House in one of the largest lettings in Harrogate during the past decade.
Saffrey Champness, who is relocating its Harrogate office from Windsor Court, has taken more than 5,800 sq ft of office space on the ground and first floor of the Grade A building on a new 15-year lease.
James Scott, at Wilton Developments, commented: "This is great news for Harrogate and a testament to the quality of accommodation presented at Mitre House." We are delighted to be welcoming Saffrey Champness to Mitre House and hope that they have many happy years trading from the building."
Mitre House, which was being marketed by national property consultant Carter Jonas and Leeds-based agents WSB Property Consultants, provides Grade A office accommodation with air conditioning throughout and secure surface and basement parking.
Robin Beagley, of WSB Property Consultants, commented: "We're delighted that Saffrey Champness has decided to relocate to Mitre House and the property is now fully let. This deal concludes a very successful 12 months which also saw the earlier letting of the second floor of Mitre House to Jarvis Family Law and clearly demonstrates how attractive the building is to tenants."
