Friday, 17 July 2009
Four members of GVA Grimley's Leeds office are celebrating new qualifications.
John Leatham, who has worked as part of the growing corporate recovery team in GVA Grimley's Leeds office for the past three years, is the latest person to become qualified as a chartered surveyor. John passed his Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) following a written assessment and panel interview to become a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Earlier this year Suzanne Phillipson and Philippa Edwards and just this week Hannah Gregory became members of the Royal Town Planning Institute after passing their MRTPI qualification. Suzanne and Philippa have been part of the planning, development and regeneration team within the firm since September 2006 and Hannah joined in April 2007.
The run of qualifications follows a string of promotions in the planning, development and regeneration team. Alistair Andrew has secured his role as associate, Suzanne, Philippa, Hannah and Anne Hargreaves are now senior planners and James Cox has been appointed as a graduate within the team.
Beverley Smith, director of planning, development and regeneration at GVA Grimley's Leeds office, comments: "Personal development is high on the agenda at GVA Grimley and we're always looking at ways in which we can bolster the successes of the firm's future generations.
"We're immensely proud of all colleagues who have recently qualified and to those who have all secured well deserved promotions. Their hard work and dedication is a true reflection of the level of calibre we have across the teams."
