M&D’s is set to open the doors to Scotland’s Theme Park for the first time this year for its exclusive preview weekend on 24 and 25 March and are set to welcome a superb new ride for 2018.

Set to send visitors in a spin, the Night Mover Waltzer will open in time for the preview weekend. The old-school lights, music and artwork of this ride is sure to bring back feelings of nostalgia for theme park fans.

Visitors can take a first look at the theme park ahead of the open season with the return of its family-friendly rides and attractions.

M&D’s much-loved rides including the iconic Big Wheel, Dodgems, and Big Apple are set to entertain visitors of all ages.

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming families back to the theme park for 2018 and are delighted to unveil our newest ride, the ever popular Waltzer.

“Visitors can expect an action-packed schedule of events which will take place throughout the year and there’s still time to take advantage of our super season pass packages.”

In addition to the theme park, families can enjoy a host of additional activities at M&D’s including a visit to Amazonia, Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest, which is home to a variety of wildlife.

With glow-in-the-dark ten pin bowling at Cosmic Bowl, 18-hole mini adventure golf at Devil’s Island Golf, Krazy Congo soft play area, indoor amusement arcade Game Zone as well as several bars and restaurants including the Family Restaurant, Guiseppe’s Coffee Shop and InsideOut Bar serving up delicious menus there is lots to keep families busy this year.
