Monday, 06 October 2008
Retailer Tie Rack will bring its flair for fashion to Livingston when it opens a store at 314 Almondvale South, The Elements – the £130million shopping centre currently nearing completion in the West Lothian town.
The popular international retailer will add to the exciting mix of retailers already signed up to be part of the contemporary new 375,000 sq ft shopping centre, which opens on 16 October, 2008.
With more than 260 stores in 26 countries, Tie Rack offers an exciting shopping experience, combining style with the finest fabrics from around the world. Its women’s collection offers a range of accessories, from silk scarves to sarongs and handbags, whilst the men’s collection offers everything from ties and cufflinks to silk handkerchiefs.
Tie Rack has agreed a lease on a 273 sq ft unit.
David Smith, Leasing Director, Land Securities, said: “We are thrilled with the impending arrival of another international retailer, Tie Rack, which will further add to the attractiveness of Livingston within the growing regional catchment.”
Martin Morgan Property Director at Tie Rack said: “We are looking forward with great optimism to the opening of our shop in Livingston and to what appears to be an impressive Centre”.
The 375,000 sq ft shopping centre will open its doors on October 16, 2008. From this date, The Elements and the adjoining Almondvale Shopping Centre will be known by the new name “The Centre”. The rebrand is designed to reflect Livingston’s exciting transformation – The Centre will form one spectacular retail destination with almost 1million sq ft of retail space featuring 155 shops.
Lunson Mitchenall and Culverwell acted as joint agents for Land Securities with Tie Rack acting in house. For more information on The Elements, visit www.theelementslivingston.co.uk.
